The War on People is a project focused on the intersections of mental health, harm reduction and the criminal justice system. We are investigating the social processes and agents that produce and reproduce harm in our society.

Project Initiators

This project was initiated by the Creative Resilience Collective, a multidisciplinary collective working at the intersection of art, design, health care, legal aid, research, and technology.

In Philadelphia, we initiate projects with underserved communities and advocates looking to combat stigma and improve access to self-determined mental health care support. We believe our collective agency can create positive change in care systems, leading to more equitable futures. We do this through educational workshops, study groups, critical writing, public art, youth programs, and the building of local tools and resources to shape the evolution of dignified care.
